You probably have already heard from people driving a Hyundai how efficient they are. Or you are one of our valued customers and already have a good sense of the economy the Hyundai vehicles provide. Now, however, we have also some authority to back up our efficiency claim.

The United States Environmental Protection Agancy (EPA) has declared Hyundai as the most fuel efficient brand in its most recent studies. Only one year after promising to become the leading manufacturer in terms of fuel economy, Hyundai has passed all major manufacturers in Corporate Average Fuel Economy. This report the effectiveness of the value-driven fuel-efficient strategy deployed by Hyundai, which focuses on the intelligent application of cost-effective technologies.

The EPA 2009 Light-Duty Automotive Technology and Fuel Economy Trend Report indicates that Hyundai has the highest MY 2009 Laboratory 55/45 fuel economy with 30.1 miles per gallon. Incidentally, Hyundai is the only brand to pass the 30 mpg mar in the report.

And this is only the beginning. Research in next-generation fuel cell technology and elctric engine propulsion systems, as well as practical advances such as direct injection technology, coming in 2010 to the market, will further solidify Hyundai's position as a fuel efficient automaker.
