D-MAX has also won an accolade of “Editor's Choice” from the hotly-contested Trade Van Driver magazine. The magazine acclaimed that D-Max's design is stylish and tough both interior and exterior. As a matter of fact, Isuzu D-MAX has recorded a best-ever monthly sales in March 2013, with 814 registrations. Trade Van Driver is the publication dedicated to offering 'transport solutions for the trade professional' And its awards are judged by an expert panel made up of journalists and of readers who rely on light commercial vehicles for their businesses.
Like that wasn't enough, The Isuzu D-MAX was today announced winner of the 2013 Australian 4WD Action Magazine's Ute* of the Year.
Widely respected as Australia's toughest 4x4 test, the D-MAX triumphed over the full-gamut of Australia's one-tonne pickup segment; the Toyota HiLux, Mazda BT-50, Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara, Holden Colorado and Volkswagen Amarok.
"Judging criteria for the 4WDer's Ute of the Year was simple – we wanted to test the vehicles in a way that mimics how they'd be used in real life," said Australian 4WD Action's editor, Brendan Seymour. "This meant loading them almost to their GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass), and then putting them through their paces in every off-road terrain imaginable, from mud, to steep hills, sand and long stretches at higher speeds ... finally, we enlisted the help of seven real 4WDers to test the vehicles like only a true 4WDer can – and the D-MAX came out on top," he added.
Not only did the Isuzu D-MAX pick up the overall award, but it also proved the most fuel efficient of the seven utes tested.
Giving further insight to the comprehensive assessment regime, tester Steven Collins explained; "We broke the off-road performance portion of the judging down into five categories and scored each ute based on how they performed off-road. We then compared and scored fuel economy (as tested), purchase price, running costs per year (comprehensive insurance and servicing) and payload to determine the final outcome." |

|
Yup. Whoever doubted the consistency of Hyundai's quality should change its mind with this info. ALG, a North American insitution reviewing quality and reilability on vehicles, have awarded the Hyudai Elantra the award as the vehicle with the best residual value on its category. For the third time in a row.
Residual value on a vehicle is a direct consequence of its level of quality and reliability. After all, any vehicle that, for example, connot maintain reliable operation, or which interior finishing deteriorates rapidly on time, will inmediately will see such events having direct effect on the quality perception, and therefore its selling value. As such, the high residual value of the Hyundai Elantra is a direct reflection of its quality and durability.
Garage Centraal Aruba is extremely proud of being able to provide Aruba with such quality, and invites averyone to come visit our showroom, so you too can see for yourself the level of quality of the Elantra and all other Hyundai vehicles. |

Santa Fe continues to gather awards |
|

Hyundai’s new Santa Fe has won two very different awards in the U.S. market, a testament to the CUV’s versatility. The awards come as critical praise rolls in for the new Santa Fe and sales heat up. On Oct. 26, Carspondent.com – the only car-of-the-year program in the U.S. that combines the input of automotive journalists with elite athletes to determine which cars and trucks best meet the needs of buyers with active lifestyles – gave Santa Fe the group’s ninth annual Active Lifestyle Vehicle (ALV) award. Vehicles are evaluated on their ability to enhance the active lifestyle of customers. Performance handling, cargo capabilities and safety scenarios are key factors in voting. Santa Fe won in the “Best Value On-Road” category.” Santa Fe is an IIHS top safety pick. “Authenticity is a very important aspect of this program,” said ALV co-founder, Nina Russin. “We pick the athletes whose involvement in sports is significant enough to impact their car-buying decisions. Team leaders are considered opinion leaders in the active community. This year, we invited parents judging the family category to bring their kids along, allowing them to test drive the cars in the same way they might use their personal vehicles.” Santa Fe also scored big in Texas, being named the Compact CUV of Texas on Oct. 22 by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA). The award was determined by 50 leading journalists across two days of expansive driving around San Antonio, Texas. “TAWA members overwhelmingly selected the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport as the Compact Crossover of Texas,” said Michael Herzing, TAWA President. “Crossovers are important to Texans as they need vehicles that deliver on comfort, functionality and reliability. Hyundai exceeded those expectations and had the best product in the category.” All-new for 2013, the third generation Hyundai Santa Fe Sport was named the “Compact CUV of Texas” for the first year ever. Entered into one of the most crowded segments of the competition, the Santa Fe Sport beat out the likes of the 2013 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring AWD, 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek 2.0i Limited and the 2013 Nissan Juke SL Midnight Edition. Hailed by journalists for its blend of value, mileage, capability and driving dynamics, the Santa Fe Sport found its way up rocky hills, down steep inclines, and around sweeping back-roads.

Hyundai, most reliable brand by Australian customers |
|
|
|
|
Reliability rates as one of the most important concerns when it comes to cars.
We turned to consumers to tell us which of Australia’s car brands is the most reliable, with Hyundai crowned the 2012 winner of Canstar Blue’s most satisfied customers award for car reliability. This was just one of Hyundai’s award wins in this year’s motoring awards, with the manufacturer also receiving Canstar Blue’s five star rating for overall customer satisfaction, after sales service and value for money. ,
Other brands which also performed well in terms of reliability include four star recipients Mazda, Subaru, Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi who each received four stars for the reliability of their cars. These brands were joined by Volkswagen, Honda, Ford, Holden and Kia - all of which received three stars in this field.
Canstar Blue commissioned Colmar Brunton to survey 7,500 Australian consumers over a number of months to measure their satisfaction across a range of products and services. The outcomes reported are the results from customers within the survey group - in this case, 1,722 people – who had bought a new car from a dealership in the last 3 years. Brands must have received at least 30 responses to be included. Results are comparative and it should be noted that brands that received three stars have still achieved a satisfaction measure of at least six out of 10. |
